St. Luke’s at Union Station is a historic 25,0000 square foot health and wellness center located in South Bethlehem’s Central Business District.
St. Luke’s at Union Station is a historic rehabilitation and adaptive re-use project that transformed a ca. 1900 passenger rail station into a state-of-the-art health and wellness center for St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network. When passenger rail service was discontinued in the 1970’s, the station was abandoned. Demolition by neglect nearly caused the collapse of this historic edifice. Ashley Development leveraged public financing in committing its resources and completed a rehabilitation that has been certified by the National Park Service.
